We have been back in our remodeled library building for a month and it seems like every day something new is added or changed. New furniture, new books, new computers, I never know what our delivery trucks, Fed Ex or UPS will bring each day.
If you haven’t visited us yet, be sure to come to one of our many programs during our grand reopening week, December 8 through 13.
Monday, December 8, is the ribbon cutting at 11 am (with cookies and coffee), Baby Story Time at 11:30 am and an exciting travelogue, Rafting the Grand Canyon, with George Winters and Bridget Wisniewski at 7 pm.
Tuesday features Wii and other games for Teens at 3 pm.
On Wednesday you can relax with muffins and coffee from 11 to noon while listening to recorded music with our “guide” Clarence Caspers.
Thursday is for the novice computer or internet user. Bring your questions and learn new skills at either 11 am or 3 pm.
Friday, we have our regular family story time at 11am.
Saturday is our big Fall used book sale sponsored by the Darrington Friends of the library from 9 am to 3 pm.
Check us out!
